Dubbed ‘the new leather’, these gorgeous pvc/rubber upcycled bags will last a lifetime.
The bags are incredibly strong, very stylish and.. made from discarded conveyor belts. Once used at the postal service, the flower industry, distribution centers and so on, the conveyor belts have served to distribute uncountable items across the world.
Industrial designer, and owner of Kazmok, Dinand Stufkens, realised how this sturdy material would be perfect to live on in bags. Aiming at the modern day businessman and woman, the bags and trolleys come in different shapes and sizes and are ready to go on a trip around the world. And as with all things upcycled, each piece is unique as each conveyor belt once served a different purpose.
The conveyor belts are collected, cleaned, and sewn into bags and trolleys in the Netherlands. There are also conveyor belt-belts (yup!) and ipad sleeves. Great stuff Kazmok!
