Canadiano Coffeemaker

September 26, 2014

Leave it up to the Canadians to design the perfect coffeemaker to ensure you can have a fresh brew after a long hike. Though this coffeemaker  would look equally cool in your office (and you can avoid the company coffee machine!).

The Canadiano is carved out of block of wood. Simply put it over your cup, add coffee and pour water. No paper filters are needed. The wood absorbs the oils coming from the coffee beans which adds to the flavour. The type of wood (Walnut, White Oak, Berch or Cherry) even comes with a specific roast recommendation which complements the used type of wood best. Or as the designers state: “The Canadiano is crafted for picky coffee drinkers”. Honestly I am not fuzzy about coffee whatsoever but after discovering the Canadiano I sure hope I will be someday soon.
