MINDFUL MONDAY: The Coffee Registry – The pour over stand

This pour over coffee machine is one of the nicest way to make your brew. First you add your favourite ground coffee to a filter, and then slowly pour the boiled water in to let the coffee grounds soak and release it’s black gold directly into the cup or pot. If you don’t want to start the day sitting cross legged on a cushion for a formal mediation session, slowly making and enjoying a cup of coffee is a great way to start off your Mindful Monday.

Colorade based, ‘The Coffee Registry‘ started off as a coffee business, but has now extended into crafting the needed machinery as well in their workshop. Just as they care for the process of sourcing, roasting and turning the beans into coffee by hand, that same care now also clearly is being pored into these stunning coffee makers.

Made from brass and walnut, the coffee maker is perfect in all its simplicity. The coffee stand’s hight can be easily adjusted to fit the size of your cup or decanter, too. All together, this would be a beautiful coffee maker to start off your day in style. (Even if you just put it on your kitchen counter and look at it in awe whilst making a cup of tea). Enjoy your mindful monday!
