In the midst of summer, my craving for big, bold, bright colours in every aspect of my life becomes much more present. So without further ado… let’s meet Maná Maná from sunny Spain!
This brilliant splash of colour is brought to you by the sisters Maya and Tiyi del Barrio. Between the two of them they have an impressive list of skills and interests: corporate identity design, publishing and webdesign, screen printing, ceramics, painting and engraving. Amongst others.
Maná Maná is the child that came to live after putting all this creativity together.
Maya, the graphic designer of the two, started making lamps with a friend back when she was still in design school. It was during this time that she could experiment to her heart’s content. Later, her sister Tiyi came up with the idea to team-up together and start a new creative brand, with the funky neon lighting being Maná Maná‘s first collection.
If you’re in need of some serious colour therapy, browsing their lookbook is something you’ll thoroughly enjoy, or head straight to their online shop to stock up on neon lights.
ps: For a fiesta XL edition, simply add one Mecedorama rocking chair, and a big bar of Tableta Pollock to you Maná Maná lamp.. y disfruta!
