Memo_tearing_ResizedWho doesn’t love pretty practical items with dual functionality?

At Taiwanese design studio Chianchi they want to design things  “(..) that work well, look nice, and make someone’s day better and happier”. A perfect example is their ‘memo bank’. With the memo notes shaped to serve as a piggy bank, in pretty neutral pastel colours, it’s stunning and I can certainly see this work well.

Moreover, Chianchi’s memo bank definitely has the potential to make someone’s day better and happier. Maybe even a lot more people than you could ever imagine!

Of course you could use these notes to scribble down your shopping lists, or doodle.. But what if..  you’d write down every single good idea that pops into your head on a memo note while also dropping some cold hard cash into the bank? After a while you’d have a stack of potentially brilliant business ideas and a little start-up capital to get things rolling!
