When burning candles you’ll always end up with a large piece of leftover wax once the candle finished burning. It’s one of those ever returning questions in life: to throw away, or to not throw away? The eco-friendly route would be to DIY yourself a new candle with leftover stubs and a new candle wick.
In catholic churches across the world countless numbers of candles are lightened up with different prayers, hopes and wishes. In the Netherlands it’s Atelier Ozo, that collects these stubs and gives them a new life in these pretty designs, and many more. Smart upcycling!
