Yesterday I went to visit two concept stores in Amsterdam, and both carried the beautiful ceramics by Dutch ceramicist All Es.
You won’t find many stories about ceramics here on GIGOT, as I find it hard to write a story that goes beyond
OMG THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL
But you know what, maybe that’s enough. Maybe it’s ok to just sit, watch, appreciate, and I don’t know, breath. ‘Cause that’s one thing I was reminded again after seeing a table filled with all this powdery pastel goodness: handmade ceramics somehow have a great calming effect.
ps: To buy I would suggest you to go Amsterdam and visit the wonderful store Sukha, but you can also order online (and buy more pink-and-gold bowls with the money you save by not buying plane tickets. Your daily oatmeal fix will thank you for it!)
